New Revell Escalade

Anyone have this kit yet? How is it? What kind of detail does it offer?

How about let's try a different word besides "gay" to describe something that looks tacky, idiotic, tasteless, ridiculous, or otherwise aesthetically challenged.

No need to be offensive to a group of people when all you're upset about is a set of optional kit wheels. Plenty of other options out there and I'm sure that the Revell folks not only know this, but have probably engineered the kit in such a way to make Hoppin Hydros wheels an easy fit.

Gay is just a childish mind that is inferior of expressing it self in a better manner. Gay meant happy, then homosexual, and now it means stupid?

water slide 'decals', or self adhesive 'stickers' ???

Curbside! What! did you really expect a full detail kit of an SUV?
Isn't this already a $15 dollar kit? Come on, would you pay the twenty something bucks a full detail kit would cost?

Enough ranting! Nah...
About time Revell! What! two years late?

Ok, I'll be good. I really like Revell's simple kits, I just don't like waiting for them.

Oh sure!
This is my 600th post. I've been here a year, and my B-day is this weekend. I guess I'll act my age...not! LOL

I've personally never like trucks that much.. but if I see one in Wal-Mart or Zellers I'll probably buy it for fun and do something stupid with it, or actually do a good job? I never know..

Funny, I've seen the test shots and the body and interior are very accurate seeming, plus the chrome is good and the chassis is definitely going to make ride height modification easy.

Funny, you folks don't complain when Tamiya releases a kit of a WRX where the only separate chassis parts are the brake discs and they charge you THIRTY DOLLARS for it, but heaven forbid Revell offer the same sort of kit at $15.

Re: New Revell Escalade

I just bought the kit and I highly recommend it. It is a curbside but then again, so are most of Tamiya's kits. The Focus is pretty great too plus it has an engine. If you like them, go grab one and be glad people are still willing to produce kits for a seemingly ungrateful public. [/rant over]
