many of the cars listed aren't manufacturers, they're nameplates such as chevrolet, saturn, GMC, and pontiac which are all GM name plates. lincoln is ford, acura is honda, dodge and jeep are nameplates of chrysler.

and what about volkswagon? mitsubishi, subaru, and so on?

Ferrari, through the passion and legend.

As a car maker, it's either BMW or Mercedes Benz. They really have always made fantastic cars during their long histories.

Well I voted for Nissan and with good reasoning

The poll just is not right. It needed to be manufactures only, but hell I did not make it just voted.
