I've seen quicker shifts in a semi ::yawn::
 That is what the next chocolate milk commercial should be. "shake stuff up"

Knowing nothing about that car other than watching the video, it looks like he has a sequential transmission, where he just has to pull the lever straight back for each upshift and forward for each downshift.
