big azz snow tires

i was told that i could find 315/30/17 bridgestone blizzaks. in case you dont know, these are like THEE best snow tires on the planet.(if there are better snow tires please inform me)if any of you know where i can find these monstrous tires please let me know. the only reason i ask this is because my first car will be an 88' gt and i live in colorado where it can snow pretty unexpectedly, and the car will be my daily driver. at first i was thinking that i would do 17x9's all around. and then get some crappy rims to put on some smaller blizzaks on, but my buddy said that i could get a 315 snow tire. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks

Re: big azz snow tires

i was told they would fit with no mods, are they really to big? i should have said this before, but the 315s are for just the back. i know for a fact that they would be WAY too big for the front

Re: big azz snow tires

I just use my summer tires year round, and have some fun with them. I drive my stang almost every day unless it's down for something.

Oh yeah, I live in Colorado too.

The widest tire you can fit on the back of a fox-body mustang is around a 275. 245's for the front or they will scrub. On the newer mustangs though, 99+ you can get 315's on there it will just poke out a little.
