mass air conversion
im thinking about converting my 87 speed density to a mass air and was wondering if it was a good idea or if i'm wasting my money? my car has flowmaster catback 2 1/2, bbk o/r h pipe, msd coil, fms 9mm wires, cheap cold air induction, 12*base timing.. it needs a gas tank so while its dropped i was going to put in a 155lph fuel pump, 65mm tb, 19 or 24 lb injectors not sure which to go with? now after all that and the mods it has is it worth doing the mass air or not?

Is it necessary? Probably not. But in the future when you start to more "extreme" mods mass air is a must, especially with power adders.

i'd do it... theres really no reason not to except for a hair more power. as far as i know, mass air is a lot easier to work with in terms of engine modifications.

Wether or not you should do it really depend on your mods and future plans.
