An auto trans will always suck more hp than a manual, but you can make them quicker if you have enough car. They tend to launch a little better and shift crisper if built right. But you can always learn to shift a manual and do really good that way as well. I would suggest a stage 3 shift kit, rev. manual valve body, high stall converter, and racing frictions, steels, sprag, hardened input shaft, what have you.

its a 95 gt convertble totaly stock sept ingnition timming advance..i plan to supercharge her and run about 13 lbs of boost i think{have enoguh money in a safe place for the pistons/rods and crank/ and shit ill just wait till i reck them with to much boost, if 13 doesnt do it ill up it. and jsut want a trany to match.

with that $2500-3000 you could just get your self one nice head cam intake combo. and def be putting out more hp and torq than that sc could... and you could possibly still have some cash left over for a shift kit.. i think the stock pretty much every thing just doesnt flow well enough... itd prob be a better idea to wait on the sc till you build up your motor cuz youd def see better power gains on a built motor w/ that sc than you would stock and you would have less worries of blowing your engine... just my opinion

These items will allow you to keep up with a 5sd of equal motors. Don't waste your money on a chip, won't do a damn thing unless you have lots of mods done.

If you have a car with an electronically shifted auto the chip will do the same things as a shift-kit. If not ignore the chip to you actually have some mods done.

it all comes down to your combo really... ive heard of guys gettin into the 12's w/ thumper heads and a bcam...its rare but at all possible...
and something to take note of, if your gonna get a chip, wait till you do what your gonna do w/ you motor first.
