Question questions 4 help

Hey guys, about 5 months ago I got a 89 5.0 mustang. I havent had a lot of times to test it but when I did it was a race against my brothers grand prix GTP. He had rockers, intake , and an exhaust. I am by far beating him in mods. I have a crane cam, rockers, performer intake, performer, heads, bbk headers, bbk x-pipe, magna flows, 75mm maf sensor, 70mm throttle body,4-10 gears, shift kit, 25 lb injectors...and I think thats it. The guy I bought it from didnt know much about the car other than it just got rebuilt 3,000 miles before i got it. It eats oil and a little smoke comes out the exhaust when the pedal hits the floor. So can someone give me any ideas whats wrong!?

I had my rings checked and they were fine. I was thinking it was my valve seats?

Re: questions 4 help

That's all fine and dandy, now do a leak down test or a wet compression test.

it's easy... take a shower, don't dry off, and squeeze your....

j/k =P

same place you got the regular test done, silly =P. have them do a leakdown test too, that'll see if your rings are any good.
