swap
I would definitley say go with the motor swap. You can fine tune a DOHC motor way better than a single cam. A single cam runs both the intake and exhaust valves, but with a DOHC, you have 1 cam for intake and 1 cam for exhaust.

Well, you can get 10 sec.. out of the D16, it will just take a lot of work and money. But, even with a B series engine it will take quite a significant amount of work and money to get to the 10 second barrier.
Hope no matter what you choose, you have a LOT of money. Good luck with that.

Go with the swap. Maybe I'm saying this cause I'm partial to the B-series and hybrids....but still the DOHC is much better to work with

this is the way i look at it
turbo you will find you might run into some problems and you can only run about 7psi on stock internals also its still only a single cam when a b16a is twin cam and sound damn cool when you hit VTEC

Kind of off topic but somebody put that the D16 has vtec on intake and exhaust but I beleive it is only on the intake side on the SOHC. On topic...since I havce the SOHC I would say torbo charge it but if you have the money for the swap and a turbo well, there ya go

YOu are correct, the SOHC has vtec only on the intake, not on the exhaust. I would suggest you swap it, will bring you more power in the end and you will start out with power from a stock engine.

read poweredbyhonda's thread about his D16 it will convince u to keep it. as for turbo get motor work first then turbo. U will be satisfied with your outcome.

you can boost 10-12psi daily if you know how to tune and manage air/fuel....I say go for it...turbo's make all sorts of cool sounds and create all types of wild HP....I've seen 200 whp out of the greddy turbo kit, stock internals
