parking brake quick help please!

I have a few hours today to adjust my parking brake on my 89 5.0 mustang and i found what i think is the brake equilizer but i dont see the nut im supposed to adjust to tighten it up so i dont have to rely on first gear to hold my car from rolling into traffic.

Pull up your E-brake and there is a nut under the E-brake handle. That is the first and easiest adjustment to get to.
