Jon Shepherd doesnt race on the street in his 8 second talon.
It's on the website. www.shepracing.com He was going to be destroyed by teh vette but the vette went boom and hit 11 seconds.

That vette was insane fast, with only a badge and a telltale exhaust note to warn possible challengers.... I like it!

I saw that vid on ls1.com That corvette is punched out. It's not a 427 though. I believe it's somewhere in the 383-396 range. Sick car though.
