Stealth RT/TT Vs. Camaro SS.

While we were out in Colorado Neutrino and I headed out with some friends to go cruising. Neutrino rode with one of other friends and his dad in a 1965 Plymouth Cuda with a 340, a tricked out tranny, and 4:10 gears in the back.

It is a bitching car.

Anyhow, one of my other friends let me drive his 1991 Stealth RT/TT. He has let me drive it before, but he had modded it since then. He has a full three-inch Borla exhaust, downpipe, upgraded turbos, and he's running 12 PSI I think. I'm not to sure of the specifics. Anyways, we head out and there isn't much going on and towards the end of the night I got lucky. At a stoplight a Camaro SS pulls up next to me. He kept inching up so I get ready to go. I didn't launch and he got the hole shot but I caught him in second and had two cars on him by third. We hit another light and same things again; he didn't seem to learn his lesson the first time. We hit a third light and this time I'm not giving the hole shot and launch the car at about 4,000 RPM. I easily put five cars on him before I shut it down. After that he didn't want any more action.

It was a sweet race and that Stealth is one badass car. He said he might sell it since he bought a Mustang Cobra. I would love to buy it but I don't have the money or the room.

Get rid of the Vision, and get the Stealth . It can be your new daily driver...

I wish, the Vision isn't worth crap and the Stealth is worth close to seven grand. I would if I didn't still owe money on the Vision. Perhaps he'll still have when I do have the money, but I doubt it.

LOL!!!

He was with me while I was driving it. Hell, I hadn't been launching because I didn't know if he was alright with that. I only launched on the thir go because he asked why I was letting him get the hole shot.

We did, from a roll, and we lost.

I should have known better. However, that Cuda has a lot of work, then again so does the Stealth. My friends dad thinks from a dead stop it would be a pretty close race. The Stealth would get the hole shot, but I think the Cuda would take him by about a car and half or a car length. However, the friend's dad plans to drop in a 360 this summer or next summer with a 727 transmission. I can't wait to take a ride in it.

Nice kill. An SS is a tough car to take from a roll.

Actually we went with the Cuda from a roll. We took the SS all three times from a dead stop. We would have eaten him from a roll though cause' that Cuda would have eaten the SS as well.

Re: Stealth RT/TT Vs. Camaro SS.

Heh I just finally put in 4.10 gears in my S-10. Not as fast as I was expecting but still quite a damn difference.

Domestics running free on the open road, how i wish i'd been to see it!
Great job with the kills Polygon, i love when you give a solid repeat performance right after wiping the pavement with people!

Why are you keeping the old GTC around? I thought you'd have yanked all the good stuff off it and put it on the new one?
