P10 JDM Side Markers...

Hey all,

I just got a hold of some P10 JDM side markers. Has anyone here installed them before? I think they just replace the body trim on the fender. Is there already a hole under the trim for the wiring? I really don't want to drill any holes.
Thanks for any input.

How did you get your hands on those? Just curious cuase i've looked into those before. Also, i think there is a hole in the body for the wires to slip through, and if not, i'm sure a small drill bit would suffice. thanks

Thumbs up

That's SWEET . . .

I installed some side markers of my own in the exact same position . . .

To answer your question: No there was no hole under the molding, I had to drill my own.

I didn't even know they existed JDM. How'd you discover those?

Good luck . . .

eBay is the place, katcho.jp is the seller. He has a steady supply of P10 stuff. I have bought a bunch of JDM stuff (sidemarkers, mirrors, grille) from him and am really happy. One thing I missed was the amber corners. I went out that night thinking no one would outbid me. I come back and I lost the auction. IF THERE ARE ANY AMBER CORNER LAMPS AGIAN I WILL OUTBID YOU SO DON'T EVEN TRY!!! Thank you.

I tried to get all the Japanese and New Zealand people to help us out by listing all the JDM stuff on their cars but no one responded.

Here is a list of what I know. (most of it is on my car)

The front grill is different and also has nissan emblem instead of infiniti.

Once agian on the trunk lid the emblems are switched to Nissan and Primera with the Primera on the left side of the trunk. (opposed to G20 being on the right)

In Japan, the parking space is limited so the mirrors are electronicly fold in and out. The mirrors are for RHD though so they have to be adjusted as far left as they go for LHD cars. The left side is convex and the right side is flat. It is really wierd driving with them so I think I will switch the lenses with my stock mirrors which will also give me my heated function agian.

Sidemaker/Repeter Lamps are built into the molding in front of the door.

Some of the turn signals/corner lamps are amber colored. I like amber so I want to get these.

You could get a taillight filler panel that takes up the space between the lights and the License Plate.

Don't forget about the front and rear bumpers. JDM bumpers don't have the clearance lights.

Yup, that's where I got 'em. I'm surprised that no one bid on them. I got them for the starting bid price.

If a space is so tight that they can't park with the mirrors out, how the heck do they even get out of the car??

I will retrack this statement. Why? Because I decided to skip the auction thing and buy direct from him. Ohh.. to bad, I got his only pair.

Yeah anyway, back to the actual topic. I'll put the side markers on this Friday. Looks like I may have to borrow a drill. I post pics when I'm done. Or just look in the Hyper Rev Book. I picked up a copy of that last night. Awesome cars. I wish I had a T4 with a DET. Dang-it, I'm going off topic agian.

In total now, I have sent over 4 pairs of those lights (second hand) and two pair of amber cornerlights,
Those repeater lights in the mouldings are cheap
$10us each plus about $12us freight and they take 10 days to get there.

One of the guys i sent over the repaeter/mouldings said there was a hole already there and the wire was there also !!!!!!!!!!!!!

You wouldn't happen to have any of the repeaters in a pearl or white colored molding do you?
