Finished pics : Pagani Zonda GR nr 61 - 24 Hr Le Mans 2003

At last. It is finished. Considering the problems and bad luck I've had with this model, I must say the result isn't too bad. Oh well, I admit that the pictures mask some of the smaller errors. But generally spoken it doesn't look all that bad, even if I say so myself :22yikes:

It looks great except the cf decal looks way out of scale.

i agree, the cf looks a little too large...but considering this is a 1/43 car. WOW. cant wait to see the whole project finished.

This is 1/43. If the CF would be on-scale you wouldn't see the pattern anymore. The real model is about 4 times as small as the pics. I know it looks oversized on the pics, but believe me, IRL it looks just about right

Gorgeous and bulking from detail for a 43rd scale, looks nice, but have to agree on the carbon...

Re: Finished pics : Pagani Zonda GR nr 61 - 24 Hr Le Mans 2003

Many of us would be happy to have a not so bad result as this one! It makes me forget it's only 1/43!
And the subject is sooooo sexy!
What surprises me the most is the fact that the metallic paint doesn't look out of scale! It does sometimes on 1/24 models, an not on this 1/43 one...
+ Wonderfull CF job! I'm , sure IRL I'd be !!!!!!

Awesome car and build Guy. If there are errors I sure can't see 'em. All the more amazing that it appears on the monitor two or three time larger than reality. Almost like looking at the real model through an eyepiece or magnifying glass. A very unfair test, but one you passed with flying colours anyway

That's pimp. I really like it. I'm a big fan sports car endurance racing and that is one great looking car. I plan to watch the 24 hours of La Mans.
