Question 2001 525i or 540i touring wagon???

i would like to know what u guys think....should i get the 525i or 540i touring wagon...the 540i is 20k more than the 525i...imo thats a lot of money...and knowing me i would really mod the shiet out of the car...so i would like to know what u guys suggest...525i and save the 20k for mods...or get the 540i with lil mods???

If you don't plan on selling the car for a while, I'd get the 525 and drop the M5 motor in it...
