I think mud flaps looks good on an LX. I have them on my car and see no reason to take them off. They keep all the crud out of my wheel wells.

I went to Craig's work and saw the car in person tonight. It is in great shape! He really got a good deal. My friend doesn't believe he paid only $3,500 for it, x-4cyl or not!

Re: Pics of my new ride inside!

Well the front mud flaps have to come off, since they are rubbing when the wheel is turned lock to lock against the tire. I plan on eventually swapping the motor from my GT along with the rear axle and other parts into the notch. I am not 100% sure, but I may sell my GT to my room mate. He's totally getting into Mustangs cause of me, and since he is my girlfriends brother, I know the car will stay in the family and be in good hands. Oh and thanks for stopping by tonight Chris to check it out.

Re: Pics of my new ride inside!

I know the GT means alot to you but...if you did sell it like you said it wouldnt go anywhere too far. Also would be a nice first mustang for an older more responsible driver and not some I just got my license I am god kid. Also...you could go with the EFI Victor 5.0 upper/lower, and Vic Jr heads all from Edelbrock, then run the .574/.595 236/248 @.050 Track Heat Trick Flow hydro roller cam, 1.6 Comp Pro Mag rr's. Would have to get some nice pistons then, the Sterling pistons are nice and only around $200, best hyper pistons made. 4.10's with a T10 or GF/T5 and Centerforce dual friction clutch to launch into your max torque range without slipping. Be one badass car... . Turn some great times being that lightweight, with probably 450+rwhp depending on compression and stuff. I was gonna build a fuel injected engine pretty close to what I suggested to you I just didnt know what lb injectors and how big of a tb and mass ect.

The clutch he has now definitally is not stock. It feels exactly like my friend's, and he has a centerforce df.

Yeah thanks for the call telling me you got it home! I'm glad you got it even without me driving it. And I knew he'd let it go for that much after what you told me he said about so many people looking at it, but being scared away by the conversion. If you need any lessons, you know who to ask! lol When we takin it to the track?

Matt
