anybody else here even have a Skyline??

I see a bunch of threads here in the Skyline forum but didn't see any in the first 10 or so I checked out were random nissan stuff at best... just looking for other skyline owners in the U.S.. preferably west coast or at least southwestern US..

yes, I have a 1996 R33 Skyline GTR(modded), a 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR4(modded...a lot), and a '04 tacoma (stock). It's blue and is currently at MotoRex completeing the legalization process. I know of other Skyline forums but just checking to see if there were any owners on here.

There are a few US owners on the forums though one of the early member's hasn't been on a in a while.

GTR in SF, Diadae, SkylineinMD... Those are just a few. I cant think of any others.

Tyndago, im not sure if he OWNS one, but i've seen pictures of him driving one or two.

I do not doubt that you could own an R33...

Im sure you have heard of this before... All USDM vehicles are required to have the OBDII (On-Board Diagnostics level II) System to accomidate all 1996+USDM vehicles.

So im sure you understand why I "threw up the BS flag"...

Please let me know if I am wrong.

(Note: None of my post's are intended to start a shit throwing contest, so lets not let it get to that. These touchy threads have a tendoncy to turn into that. So lets keep this as a level-headed discussion)

there are at least 4 here...

but that doesn't help if you're in cali...

I am not in any way talking shit (well.. maybe just a little ;p) I realize all cars past '95 require OBDII and that is why I conceeded that you were very correct in your initial throwing of the BS flag... and I legally have to admit that my car is a '95.. even though it looks like a '96... if ya know what I mean. check your specs on GTR's and what came in what model year and check the pics

and I appreciate your level-headed dissent from status quo.. as it were.

Really? I am in PA! I plan on buying a Skyline in the next few years... I just need to find a job.
