Angry questions

my gf took her tiburon to the dealership to get it serviced. they tell her that she needs the front and rear breaks cleaned. which will be $70 for the front and $70 for the back. is this something that is necessary or are they just trying to get money from us. also with their 30k warranty, ive never heard of this but they quoted her $425 for it and if she doesnt do it the warranty is gone. is this just something hyundai does cuz ive never heard of it? any opinions on what we should do? thanks for your time

i think you mean 30k service, although the price is strangely high (check around with another dealer) it WILL NOT void her warranty in anyway if she doesn't do it. She has every right to just do a basic service, although if her car ever needs something and it's after warranty they may not step up "goodwill" if she hasn't done her services. I don't know how close you are to any other Hyundai dealers but it sounds like the ones there are ass-hats and i would check out another dealer.
