For the $50,000+ you have to put in it to make it badass, your still driving a damned civic. Also, A new Z06 runs like a high 12 to low 13, a new svt runs a mid 13 and costs about $20,000 less <--- Hmm... For $5000 you can eat him alive and still have a car that actualy looks good

Got to figure that a stock 350 is going to have more power than a stock 302 or 281. GM has made a history of doing whatever it takes to make sure that happens. Hell, they put big blocks in stinking Novas.
What happens after that is up to the owner's desires and wallet.
History also shows GM makes a POS, whether it is a banana slug Camaro, a Guidoized Firebird or a plastic rattle trap like a Corvette (who designs those GM beasts?).
For me, it's hard to beat the retro-style of a ragtop Mustang. I don't need to go that fast, just need room for a cooler in the backseat, two golf bags in the trunk and the Colorado sun.

Actually the new SVT should run mid to high 12's and it costs $20,000 less.

But that that whole Forum was funny. Thier were a bunch of morons who know nothing but there were a few in there that were speaking the truth.... Notice how all those great awesome kills where against 96-98GT Convertibles. This is a reason i'm not a fan of single car fourms all they do is bash other cars. Oddly enough the only single car fourm that i found is good *well most of the time* is www.clubcivic.com More proof there we're not all anti v8 guys

Excellent reason why I'm on here and not Corral or other Mustang only Forums. I don't like to hear all the bashing, one-sided, and single mindeness they tend to brew.

If you're bad enough at driving to take a stock Z06 to 13's, you should be shot. A decent driver with a broken in Z06 should be able to coax low 12's @ 110 out of it, at the very least.
