Boost Spikes
How can a boost contoller prevent spikes?
They happen so fast, and only for a split second, how do we know that the $$$ we spend on one is worth it, compared to a bleed valve, which IMHO does exactly the same thing. Secondly, do these very brief spikes really harm your engine? I have had a bleed valve for at least 100,000km, no gauge can see any spiking (because it's so fast and brief), and yet when I did a compression test the other day, it came out really good, and the car is still producing some good power and running well. |
