Question So if God created us, who created God?

Well, I am just curious to all of this. Again, I saw this discussed somewhere else, but thought I would bring it here. So, tell me, who created God? He/she/it had to come from somewhere

Seriously! Can you explain this? But, but, but... "God has always been"... whatever.

if you believe in Christian definitions, God is omnipresent and exists outside of time. Therefore a beginning (or an end for that matter) are concepts which do not apply.

From the standpoint of logical reasoning, there are proofs that prove God's existence (I took Intro to Logic many moons - and beers - ago, so it's a little fuzzy). Beyond that, I don't think there's a soul on the planet with a legit. answer for your query Kris.

From the same place all the matter in the universe came from. We simple 3 dimensional creatures just dont have all the facts yet so nobody knows either answer.

I think I sold my Intro to Logic book (damn! Looks like there's one college text book I actually could have used again ). But I'll see what I can find.

By the way, the proof(s) prove the existence of God as a perfect, omnipotent being, not as the creator of the universe. I am confident in saying that no such proofs exist that can claim the latter.

There sure is a lot of God threads on this board. Are people getting in near-death accidents a lot?

I beleive I STARTED this idea a while back. Anyway, ask the yuppy christian jesus lovers on this board and see what kind of pathetic answer (or most of the time EXCUSE) they come up with for this one...

I have seen a logical proof of gods existance, unforunatly the same Logic used to make the proof can also be used to disprove the existance of an all good and all knowing god.

Logic is on of the those wonderful diciplines where if you know how to manipulate it you can prove or disprove anything.

I think dimensions really do matter when you are talking about where did god come from.. my own personal belief, it has no "proof" or "facts" just something that is "logical" to me.. if God is of a higher dimension then we are how could we possible understand where he came from.. it would be like a 2 dimensional figure explaining how the 3 dimensional world is.
