About painting(plz help)

hello again, i am sorry for being such a pain in the ass :<

I understand buying an airbrush is wayy to expensive for me, and i dont want to paint it with a regular brush..

I've checked the faq and the "how to" but i didnt see any guide\manual for actual painting the model.., if u can plz help me! -> Find a guide for me or explain to me how it's done..

i really want this to turn out good, i saw pman collection and i wanna say it's really great!! (without an airbrush!!)

i really appreciate all u can do for me!
thanks, kobi.

(:

Re: About painting(plz help)

There is a whole 'how to' on painting the model by P-Man in the "How to" section, I am sure you'll find it useful.

a airbrush is not expensive at all. really cheap. i got a pretty nice one, but i got a compressor and all that so it was a bit more. you can get a nice airbrush for about 20-50$

Just airbrush isn't a kill, but then you need compressor, which will cost you at least like decent airbrush. If you have an good airbrush than compressor is a must 'couse you need a lot of air to clean the airbrush properly.
My combination of airbrush + compressor cost me $200. But now I think it's worth it

Heres a link for you to HLJ. Myself and most others here use these (Tamiya) spray paints on car bodies. You should only buy the ones listed under "Tamiya Color Spray" DO NOT choose the polycarbonate paints for this hobby. You are welcome to PM me regarding advice on how to apply the paint, or look at P-mans "how to" as Freakray mentioned further back in this thread.
Good Luck................
Later, Mike
