tach install

installing a tach into your car is pretty easy. there's only 4 wires that you have to hook up. i have a civic dx also, and i have my wires running up the a-pillar to my tach. the install is clean and its simple to do.

the installation is a piece 'o cake, the only difficulties are finding a good, clean place to mount the tachometer. Alot of people get lazy with this stage and end up doing damage to their dash or pillars. What kind of tach do you have, or are planning to get??

a B16 head with a b20 bottom end is the best way to go. but between those two motors, i would say the b18 is the better way to go.

Although your model car doesn't come with a stock tach, the signal wire is still there. If you look on the back of your gauge cluster, there should be a solid blue wire in the upper left connector (i think thats the right connector) that is the tach signal wire. then all you need to hook up is the power, light and ground and find a good mounting spot, then enjoy your tach.
