Re: Completed - Skyline GT-R

I think it looks great and gun metal is the perfect color for this particular car...

One thing I noticed is the exhausts. the chrome inside looks odd. Should have been better if drilled or painted black...

Except that I like it alot...

Re: Completed - Skyline GT-R

Always love to see Skylines.

The R33...the equivalent to a red-headed step child. It looks good. Gunmetal? Whatever color it is it suits it well.

Good build.

As opposed to using just black for the tips, try using a flat dark grey for the inside walls of the tip and then flat black for the "hole" in the center.

Also the wheels could use a wash of semi or flat black acrylic also...

or not ;-)>

Either way, a nice clean build and simple paint scheme which really brigns out the car's lines.

Re: Completed - Skyline GT-R

It was a really sunny day out side. So that might be one reason the wheels look so funny. Ill try and do the tip of the exhaust tonight and get pics of it tommorrow. Thanks for all the comments.

Looking good!

To paraphrase Lau Bak, when taking photos, try and put your camera where a 1/24 scale man's head would be. Don't be afraid to get down on the ground.

I agree about the exaust tips. That would make turn a great car into a perfect car! Nice job! That is my favorite color I've seen on that car.
