that "shade" of white is tamiya primer. i'm still waiting on the paint to arrive.
I ordered this kit from the tamiya catalog through the local hobby store.

For now i have half of the interior and the dash done. i'm just waiting for the paint to dry to apply the rest of the paint and the decals.

edit I have the interior half done, i just have to wait for the paint to dry and add the rest, then put on some decals.

well kids, i went to the hobby store to pick up my "TS-38" aka gunmetal and when i got there i found a little jar of X-10 waiting for me. so i'm going to have to just assemble the kit withough painting the body for now.

i have finished the interior and i just have to paint the front bucket seats and then i can start assembly.

Here is the completed part and all the pieces i have left. i would be done by now but i'm still waiting on the gunmetal spray to get here. the car will be gunmetal with gunmetal wheels. if the spray doesn't get here soon i'll probably start to paint the parts on the WRX STi, which will be black.

Just on a personal preference, I don't like the look of body colour wheels on a car!
Looks a bit odd! The Germans do it! (Reason enough for me not to!)

Go for a pale titanium or goldy gunmetal colour and it will look awesome, like the Gran Turismo car I posted in Warren's thread.

How about next time, cuase i'm afradi if i take the wheels off to paint them, all hell will break loose on the brakes, etc. and i kinda like the dark wheel look. i'm getting sick of the bling bling rapper chromes.

When you piant the parts while on the trees. What do you do about the little white dots left after you cut them off the tree?

I finally got fed up with waiting for the paint and went to a different store to get some gunmetal. i've gotten one layer of paint on the body, spoiler and hood. i'm going to wait until the fumes die down to take some pics.

Is it the GT-R NISMO version or just the normal GT-R?
