this vid has been around for a while... red cobra vs. black z06, right? but yeah, that sucks ass. i hate I-beams. come to think of it, i hate just about anything stock =)

So how much power can the 4.6 actually handle before it needs to be rebuilt?

I dont know a specific #s, but I've seen videos of a 95-98 body style cobra 4.6 mustang thats been turbocharged with a stock shortblock that runs in the 8s. I wish I could find the videos...

i thought the svt cobra was a mid 13 car?
when i bought my SS Camaro it will run 12's off the showroom floor. the 4.6 could never take the power, i had a mustang gt, 97 model 4.6 5 spd, i had everything done to it, supercharger ect. i raced a 99 ss camaro the stang threw a rod, it later caught fire and burned, so i got a ss, more power, its heavily armed with mods, no GT can touch it. the last on my kill list was a 02 model, some mods, i still beat him by 12 car lenths. i will never buy another stang.
