Alright. I've got a 91 Celica ST with the 1.6 4A-FE engine and I've been hearing through other Celica owners that I can up the engine with loads of hp by putting a 4A-GZE cylinder head from an 86-89 MR2 on it. What all do I need to do this conversion? Price estimate? Any other thoughts on getting more power out of the 1.6? :alien:

If I was you, I would just drop the engine in it's whole form....but if you have easier access to the head..then it all you. I'm ordering the 4A-GZE with the supercharger, ECU, Intercooler, not much money and labor at all, especially compared to a 3S-GTE swap. 2 cents end.

1991 Celica ST, tell me how it goes and any wiring trouble that you occur if any. That's the one party that scares me a lil.

Re: 4A-FE to 4A-GZE Head?
its really not hard to do wireing if you know what your doing, in al honesty the only things yoru really guna be doing is crimping and mabe soldering(doubt it). your maily just wireing your old fuzebox with the new fuzebox and just plugging the the wiereing harness to the appropriate senseors...then your doing the powersterrign lines, vaccum hoses, fuel lines, and some other stuff and thats pretty much it, there no t hard, just fristrating and time consuming
