THe 350z has 350hp .

the Hi-end one...I raced one a few months ago in my 98Gt Supcharged (365 hp)(before I got whats in my list) and could keep up with him but that 6th gear got me with his lightass weight at around 110+mph.....I 'll beat him though in a few weeks.....hehe!

Re: 350z vs. 5.0

Saw this exact race at Nopi Race Wars just this weekend... was a 94 GT and it lost bad to the 350Z... lil over a second I think. Both modded.

I watched a show on t.v. about the Nissan 350z and they said that it was heavy.

When all else fails, go to Cars.com!
http://research.cars.com/go/crp/feat...7&aff=national
There is only one engine available. 287hp 3.5L V6.
As for weight, it depends on what model you get. For a coupe it'll be somewhere between 3188(base coupe)-3239(coupe touring). For convertable, its either 3428 or 3462. The coupes aren't terribly heavy, the convertables are a bit on the portly side.
Assuming that HP rating is at the wheels, if you weighed 150lbs and you had a base model Z, then the Z should be good for around a 13.2 second 1/4 mile.

My brother in law just bought one. He let me test drive it a couple of weeks ago. Car definately has got some balls. I don't doubt that 13.2 in the 1/4 one bit. I just didn't care for the interior. Definiatly not made for for anyone over 6'0.
