B16a wiring and shift linkage questions

I am still doing my swap into my 90' CRX... I am making a harness for the 4 wires I need to run.. Vtec oil pressure, knock sensor, Vtec solenoid and secondary o2 sensor. I have all the wires run but I need to know what wire is ground for the Vtec oil pressure switch. There is a Red with white tracer and a solid Green one. I need to run one of the leads to the ECU and other to ground. I have access to wiring diagrams and I looked it up for a 94 Delsol... totally different color wires. Someone please help me out and tell me which do I run to ground. Also I really don't want to spend the money on different shift linkage when I have heard people just modify the stock one. Hasport says not to modify it because of the way it hooks up to the trans but I have heard people sucessfully cooterize it to make it work. Has anyone who has ever done the swap just modify their stock shift linkage? Thanks guys!!
