clunking in rear end
Hello,
I have a 1994 Astro with 107k on it.It makes a clunk in the rear when the tranny shifts.Only noticable when going slower. First Astro I have owned so maybe this is common,Just looking for comments. |

it is probably just your driveshaft clunking back and forth. if it is loud then your universal joints could be bad. not going to go to deep in the problem but thats a start.

try securing the left e-brake cable. it hangs loose and keeps hiiting the gas tank.

Maybe check the plastic shroud between the driveshaft and gas tank. I thought my rear U joint was going but it wasn't the case.....
