Im Dave and i have an 87 crx dx soon to be the dohc right now i got a jdm stut bar, completly custom 2 1/4 dual exhaust wit 3 inch tips, jackson racing header, 158k on body, 80k on motor and trans, interior is blue and red wit all guages, im molding in 77' cadillac eldorado lights in the back and mold in the body kit in. i plan on having the kit by mid summer to late summer. it'll be one sweet azz ide when im done

Trae here. I just bought my 87 CRX Si less than a month ago. It's got 102k on it. It's all completely stock right now. Right now i'm workin on restoring body to original cond. (both quarter panels are rusted out and driver's side door is damaged... but i've got a new door). I'm thinking about turbocharging it. I'm also thinking about dropping a B16a1 into it... but at the moment my funding is pretty low so... its goin nowhere fast! It'll be cool once i get it done tho.

241,000 miles. Has been kept up since new, since it is a 'one owner' car. Totally stock and will remain so until I die, at which time the car will be burned.

Hi, I'm Chris i have a 86 civic si 3 door with 120k on the stock EW4 FI 1.5l only mods to the engine are a custom K&N intake and filter. Brake system is from a 89 integra just completed two weekends ago. body is stock si with few dents here and there but still looks ok. next on the list is a turbo if i can find a kit or something close. if not then d16 DOHC is next up.

My name is Chris, and I just bought my friend's '87 DX for $350.

It's in pretty good shape, but it just failed the CA smog test. So I'll be moving out of this state soon

My plans are to do a CARB legal LS engine swap and fix up the interior.

Why does my 87 civic have 12 valves and my friends has 8 ??? I was checking out a thred that list the diffrent types of engins honda made...but i couldent find mine.... was my car a mistake or what...? ours are carb.but mines has a webber.what could be the HP and TQ of my car?

i just fixed the list, as far as i know it's all accurate. with the 84-87 CVCC heads there are 12 main valves and 4 auxiliary for a total of 16. with the 83 and earlier heads there are 8 main valves and 4 auxiliary for a total of 12.
