Re: Speedodmer Problem
They didn't hook up the cable, it plugs into the top of the transmission on the drivers side, or take it back to whoever did the work and tell them to hook it up!... 15 min. job.

Re: Speedodmer Problem
I am 90% sure that the speedo cable goes into the tranny on the top towards the firewall. But no you don't have to take the tranny out. Go here and download your manual it will help you out both now and in the future.

DID you get the speedometer fixed?... let me know what the problem was. I always like feedback as to what fixed the problem... Thanks.
My little 88 lude is so darn much fun to drive and with the 5-speed... she get's up and "hauls ass". Like I told you earlier, 1988, 246K miles, and she runs like a rocket but requires TLC and "tweeking" every now and again. Keep up on the regular maint, and 3K mile oil changes and your honda will run 300-500K miles... |
