Question When to replace oxygen sensor(s)

When and how do you know when to change oxygen sensors. I have a 2000 6.0l 2500 4x4, and i have a miss at itle. It has 108000 miles and i just put new plugs (oem) and wires on it.Could this be an fuel injector problem. thanks, Scott
