What do you think?
I have a 1967 327...came out of a dump trunk.
I was wantin an estimate of the kinda power was comin out of it. It is bored 40 over, has an all steel forged crank, and a racing style cam (fairly new cam). what kinda hp and torque do you think it would be puttin out? I'm thinkin about swappin out my 305 H.O. in my Monte SS with the 327...i need to know if it's worth it.

Re: What do you think?
depending on how well it was bored out, the specs on the cam you could probably put down some decent power. Without know exactly what cam and crank and so on it s hard to tell

Re: What do you think?
The how well it was bored out and type of crank does not have any thing to do with the power output, endurance & reliability, yes, power, no! You need to Know the cam spec's,type of heads, compression ratio, bore and stroke, rocker ratio, what type of intake and exhaust (manifold/headers) carb or efi to to even be in the ballpark when it comes to guestimating HP & TORQUE.
