What do you guys think about the 2004 TL?
My aunt has one...6 SPEED MANUAL!!...over all...i think its a nice car, very nice car. She doesnt rev it, so i hear no VTEC. When switching gears tho, i hear a nasty "ricer" noise in the mufflers, which i think is weird. The seats are comfy, also are powered. The seats in the back is good, but for me, i think it was too straight on the back. Throughout, i think the TL gets a 9 out of 10. NICE RIDE!!

I like them. My friend just bought the 6spd modle. I think it is a sexy car. You usually do not notice any vtec engagement when you just have your car in neutral and rev the engine. you notice it when driving.

Yeah the hands free dialing with the bluetooth tech is pretty sweet. and the nav is just awesome.

Rear wheel drive would make it a really hot car.
Its still hot though.

i rode in one i thought it was perfect man accelerates faster it seemed than it was given credit for.hte colors in the car at night r cool too. and the gps is just awsome.leather interior is extremely luxurious OVERALL I LOVE IT!

Sorry for sounding like a newbie, but what exactly is rear wheel drive? Its not the same as All wheel drive is it?

Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) means the power is transferred from the engine to the rear wheels only. The front wheels just steer and thats it.
Front Wheel Drive (FWD) means the power comes from the engine straight down through the tranny and powers the front wheels. The rear wheels are just along for the ride. All Wheel Drive (AWD) does both. There is a part in the front (I think its called a transfer case) where the power is split into both Rear and Front wheel power. |
