Rivets, or self-tapping screws

As long as it's done right with adhesive promoter and proper prep-work, the double-sided tape is fine, but if you want to be sure, you could always use screws or rivets as suggested above.

Re: Wings West door caps
as ci5ic said, prep it properly and it will hold like grandma's teeth. i had a heck of a time pulling mine off. then had the fun of getting the leftover tape on the car off
word of advise, test fit them to see exactly where you want them. i mean really take your time. my caps rubbed and it drove me nuts. probably a good reason i pulled them off

We used rubbing alcohol to remove any wax, road grime, etc... before attaching the door caps. I've had the WW kit on my car for about 4 years now & the two-sided tape hasn't failed me yet.
The weather hasn't made a difference either. From temps as low as -50, all the way up to low 100's I've had no problems. Oh, and to cover the holes in the body (from removing the stock trim) we used pieces of vinyl - the type used to make stickers - to cover/seal the holes... |

would you need to even cover the holes? cause your putting the door caps in place of that correct?

I covered the holes to keep any potential moisture out. I didn't want the inside of my doors filling up with water every time I washed the car, or it rained.
It was more of a precaution... It's not something that has to be done, but better safe than sorry... |

Re: Wings West door caps
I am thinking about double sided taping, but before I lay it on there, I want to take some "Gorilla Glue" on both sides of that tape... Gorilla Glue is as strong as concrete, even better IMO.
