Trailering on a Jetta

Hey hey

I have a 2003 1.8T Jetta, and was wondering if it is possible to attach to it a small trailer, similar to Jet Ski trailers. On it I would carry a Hobie Cat, no more than 200-300 pound (sailboat) . I dont have access to other cars without posing difficulties to other people so any advice here would be great.

If it can be done, any advice on how to do it? Thanx in advance.

Re: Trailering on a Jetta

It should have no problem pulling a small trailer, you manual should state it's carrying capacity. Hitches are widely available, here's one of many sites.
