replacing radiator
i am replacing my radiator tomorrow (it finally got here) and i was wondering if there is anything i should look out for? i have a 97 av6 accord, and it looks just like a simple replacement. i just take out my old one, which looks relatively easy, and throw in the new one, anyone with experience with this? please give feedback, thanks.

Re: replacing radiator
You got it, remove the old & install the new.
1. Remove rad. cap / Drain rad. (may have to remove lower spash shield) 2. Disconnect electrical connection(3) 3. Remove upper rad. hose / over flow hose/tank 4. Remove support brackets 5. Lift up & remove lower hose 6. Swap fans & re-install Now is a good time to replace hoses & clamps. After the coolant has been topped off, run car until fan comes on then crack open air bleeder near thermostat. |
