front rotor noise?

00 Corolla, noise coming from wheels sounding like brake dragging(pronounced in turns at slow speeds). Just replaced front pads and had rotors turned. Problem still persists. Back brakes? Any ideas? 27K miles and auto. E-brake seems to be fully releasing.

Sounds like warped discs.

brake noise

U have to get used to that for a while i think. Also some brake pads are noisy because of their material. Asked them what kind of material they are using when they replaced your brake pads and rotors. Did they machuien your rotors or get u new rotors? That should be a normal. Are u sure is coming from the front? If it is coming from the back u will need to clean and adjust the rear brakes.

Re: front rotor noise?

front rotor noise problem solved........scrubbing sound coming from tires against the rim. spray silicone around bead area of rim and noise is gone.

I am having the same problem on a '95 Corolla. Took the pads off and resurfaced. It went away for about a week then came back. Only doing it on one side. I'm wondering if it is shims? Are there pad/rotor compatability issues with this car. I had a '84 Corolla that was real temperamental about brake pads. Seems like it only liked Toyota pads.
