I have a 240sx project that im working on right now and i was wondering what type of power to expect out of the modifictions on planning on getting (and if it is a smart move). so correct me if im doing something wrong or if i should change something...I'm wanting around 500-600 to the wheels.
Mods: RB26N1 block Jun Stroker kit (crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods) Jun Stage 2 cam kit (camshaft 264 or 272 lift, racing valve spring, titanium valve retainers) Tomei Fuel Rail (accepts 555cc injectors) Greddy intake Plenum (RB25 single turbo) Nismo Side feed injectors (555cc injectors) Performance radiator Aftermarket Intercooler 255 LPH fuel pump Larger oil pick up and oil pump electric dual cooling fan HKS Circle grounding kit Head Porting (if needed) about $15,000 in modifications On the Jun website it says that head modifications will be needed for cam kit...what type of work is going to be needed? Clearance issues?? other work to put the power to the ground is a 1.5 way LSD, Lightweight flywheel, Nismo Steel braided clutch line and an OS giken clutch. And by the way i just want your opinion...i dont want to here anything about thats to much money blah blah blah...kuz the money is aready their...just getting things straight on what i want to get. Thanks for the help

I think your piston will have some extra ventalation
![]() Meaning your injectors are way too small for that application

Re: What do you think?
so what do u think i should go for with injectors, 740cc? Nother question is it possible to fit the RB25 intake on N1 block or do i have to find a single turbo setup? if so does anyone know where i can get one...preferably one that goes to the passenger side...not cross over.

Yes 720s at least. What turbos are you going to be running?

With a stroker kit and cams, 2540s would be perfect.

Re: What do you think?
im gonna go single turbo...not dual...i'd like to find a not cross over intake to change to single...where to get...since im guessing the RB25DET manifold wont fit on the RB26 block will it?

Take a look and see whats in your hp range. I like the HKS 2510, 2530, 2540, GT-SS, and the GT-RS since they are staight swaps, and you do not have to buy additional pipping.

The Rb25DET manifold will not bolt on due to different bolt pattern on the head unfortunately.PS & HP are about the same. For 500-600 you dont need the N1 block or the stroker kit really. For safety issues just forge the bottom end to help prevent any troubles. Know this though, there are several guys in Austrailia & Japan that are running over 600whp with a stock bottom end. These engines can take a beating. 740 or 800's would be a good size to run.
i'd simply suggest the following: 740cc injectors HKS fuel rail Ported Head Cams - 272 int/exh Pauter Connectiong rods JE or other preferred forged piston - 87mm Greddy T78-29g or T-67-25g turbo Greddy down pipe Greddy 80mm full titanium exhaust N1 Oil Pump N1 Water Pump Koyo or Fluidyne Aluminum radiator Walbro 255l fuel pump Dual Cooling fans XS Engineering GTR intercooler - 24x11x3 OS Giken or Exedy Triple plate cluth Apexi Power FC The stock intake manifold flows enough for this but you have options. Nismo makes a intake plenum like the Greddy one you talked about. But alot of guys have one fabbed up to use a large single throttle body instead of the individual ones... Im hoping you decide to go with a RB26 ove the RB25 since the 26 already has the better flowing head and machine work would be cheaper as well with the engine girdle on the main caps. hopefully you do. assuming you read my other reply to your post.
