KYB AGX adjustable struts/shocks

Has anyone installed any of the newly available KYB AGX adjustables yet? I heard that Tokicos were pretty lame and don't last more than about 10K miles. What about using them along with Eibach or other aftermarket springs? My stock struts/shocks are kaput...

KYB AGX's are excellent. Fully adjustable. I'm running them on stock springs and the ride is awsome. Smooth, quiet yet very firm. There probably the best strut out for the Maxima.

NJMAX... you have stock shocks? I have a 97 GLE max.. and i had it for a year.. and finnally decided to hook it up.. i'm savin' up money for now for some 17' 18' rims... probably 17's.. then i wanna lower it... i was thinkin' about the eibach springs and KYB AGX struts... is that a good combination.. and how lower would my car be.. some of the people here have some low rides.. my shiet is all high.. i'm goin' for the looks for my car right now...

This is list of what i am gettin'

Clear bumper diamond cut lense - 45$
Custom red/white taillights - 195$
Tint 35% - 150$
Rims 17' - 1000$
Eibach springs - 220$
KYB AGX struts - 380$

Hmmm 2000$ all together... expensive.. and this is just for the looks..

tell me what u others think!?

Zero Maxima - No I don't have stock struts. I'm running the KYB AGX's. I have stock springs. So my ride height is stock. As far as mods go. I think you've got a good start on things. The Eibach's are going to give you a nice drop. I'd also look at adding an Addco rear stabalizer bar and a Front Strut Tower Brace. Check on Ebay for these items.

The rear sway bar and front tower brace were the first things I added to my 97'SE Max and they make a WORLD of difference. The nature of all front wheel drive cars like Maximas is to understeer and the Rear sway bar makes up for this by causing some oversteer. The front tower brace stiffens the front of the chassis that prevents body roll. If you've ever taken big 540 curves on highway onramps you feel the body roll effect really badly. Adding these components makes the Max handle amazingly better and removes the "boaty" feel when you take those tight turns.
