Re: Can a 3.3 replace 3.5 engine?????
It would be tough. The 3.5 is actually a little to big, it sits at a slight angle. I am not sure if the trannies are the same.

I wouldn't install a 3.3 instead of a 3.5 because I have a 3.3 in my 96 and I am not very happy with it, that is unless you already have the 3.3 just sitting around

Re: Can a 3.3 replace 3.5 engine?????
Fix the 3.5L !
Short answer is No it can't replace the 3.5. Long answer is yes, but you'll need a whole donor car, or at least the front of a donor car to do it, elctrical differences, different computer, brackets, hoses, radiator size, wiring.... um, this list goes on for a really long time, so take my first answer! Why you wanna take a better motor and swap it for a piece of sh1t? Slantsixness
