Unhappy 2001 Camaro oil drain plug stripped?

I recently bought A 2001 Camaro and I'm trying to change the oil but the oil drain plug just spins in either direction. Is the oil drain plug stripped? If so how do i remove it? Help !

a pair of vice grips.. lock em on to the plug and try to spin as you pull out.. if the plug is stripped... just replace it along with a gasket.. if ur pan is stripped.. they sell tempoary plugs... you put in the hole and tighten...the seal squeeses itself onto the pan.. creating a ...seal.. most likely its ur plug
