Progress: FD3S Vertex RX-7

Hi,
Started on this today, paintjob isn't complete yet, as I made a booboo :o I've got to sand down a tiny bit of clearcoat at the bottom of the doors where it's too thick and then put another coat of clearcoat, but nothing major It will have 19" Bronze Rays Volk Racing CE28N's or TE37's (haven't decided yet) as well as a big FMIC nice exhaust and a plain black interior as I'm going for a street rather than show car look for it. *Might* have a Carbon Fibre bonnet but I doubt it - looks smoother without it. Will have stickers down the doors and stay wingless, also. Please let me know what you think of this project and any of your suggestions!

Regards,
Ryan

Talking

looks good dude. what paint did you use? I have 2 of these- I'm just starting the first one getting the body cleaned up and detailing the chassis and engine compartment. Are you gonna leave the bronze finish on the Aoshima wheels? both my TE-37's and CE-28's have a really thick finish- looks crappy, so I think I'll strip it and go white...?Great job keep the pics coming!

Re: Progress: FD3S Vertex RX-7

Maybe you purchased some wheels that were mis-coated? All my wheels sets are spot on....

Re: Progress: FD3S Vertex RX-7

Looks very promising. I like the idea of a wingless RX7
