anyone here noe something about the maxda enfini RX-7 FD3S and also RX-7 sprit R...? i just want to know the difference on both these car... newbie about car here so mind to giv some help? and btw where to search for the car ... something like the price or watever.??

i think the efini an mazda RX-7 were the same, the spirit R was the last run of the FD3S, it was the most powerful in stock form. im not a mazda expert but i think thats the basic on it.

ok here goes

Efini is a brand name under Mazda (think like Mercury under Ford and you get the idea). So the early FDs were sold under the Efini name as 'Efini RX-7'.

Then later, the Efini name was dropped and they became just Mazda RX-7.

The Spirit R is just a special edition of the FD, it was to mark the anniversary of the RX-7 and also it was the end of the series. The engine had no special modifications (so it was still 280hp), but theres special badging, interior stuff, i think the suspension is slightly upgraded, and the wheels were different (dont quote me).

ohh ic... btw anyone know how or where to check the price for those cars? i search around but only found some car auction site... maybe no luck or not good enuf in searching XD

those cars (efini and rx7 spirit r) werent sold in north america, you'll have to import them

but you can just get a US spec FD, pretty much the same except the steering wheel is on the other side

heh, we get spirit Rs in the UK, i dont think there are any cars that dont make it here.

Well I guess that's good if you are from across the ocean. Us NA people have a hard time getting anything RHD, and any of the super stock cars that come out of Germany or Asia.

the "Efini RX-7" stopped in like 96

then they were just mazda RX-7s until 02, then it was discontinued (jap)
