high tech vs v8s

[I am from Newcastle and there are alot of boosted up r32,r33 skylines cruisin round the beaches, foreshore and um..illegal drags.Alot of you guys dont have much respect for the old school stuff,eg most skyline drivers scoff when a worked v8 drives past.I have a so called 'womandore'myself with a stroked 5litre complete with a good old carby with approx 280rwhp,a 5speed and suspension mods[billstein, pedders, selbys etc]I have alot of respect for the power and handling you can acheive from these jap cars but reckon i could give you guys a scare, and a coulpe of 10-11 sec toranas arond here.So dont scoff,a v8 might own your ass..sooner or later

yes of course v8's are great but so are many imports ..........now what exactly is the point of this post and why is it here in the skyline forums???? besides, i'm sure most of the guys on this forum won't have any idea what a torana is since thats pretty much an aussie thing.

And with that before this thread turns into a shit storm I'll end it.

As a reckomendation I would suggest posting stuff about V8's in the proper area before you get flamed off the boards. You may want to seek it in the Car Comparison area under Cars in General.
