The Marines Go Off-Road and High-Tech With Increased Fuel Economy
The Marine Corps demonstrated a "hybrid-electric tactical vehicle" at their Transportation Demonstration Range Severe Off-Road Track. The Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting Vehicle (RST-V) "enables silent movement for upwards of 20 miles with extremely low thermal and acoustic signatures." So far, the vehicle has undergone "7,000 miles of field-testing and numerous demonstrations including two 1,000 mile endurance runs."
In addition to its other capabilities, the RST-V gets significantly better fuel economy than a Humvee. Read Marine Corps Press Release |

Re: The Marines Go Off-Road and High-Tech With Increased Fuel Economy
Mr. Levinson,
What do you know about Magnet power and fuel economy? When I was working on my Masters Degree in Aeronautical Science I did some R&D for some companies by putting magnets on the fuel lines to vehicles just before they entered the fuel injectors. It was wild........the most I ever got was 7% to 10% this is where it got very interesting. What you have below is a fuel line represented by the (I) and one magnet one side and another on the other side. Well, what I did to a COLD vehicle was only put many magnets on (ONLY) one side of the fuel line. Guess what happend? On first start up of the day, the car overheated in aprx (4) seconds, no detonation was heard.....Wild eeeh. ![]() I I Mag. I Mag. I I I p.s, my post has alwat been on your site, I just changed the title and I have talked to Igor on the phone, he's fine with it, I added a disclaimer too, so please don't delete. |
