Just Upgraded my TA from 2.73 to 3.73 now now traction(new tires?)

so now my car is flying compared to before and i am getting so little traction in first gear. Any suggestions on some new tires(what size? obviously wider than stock, what make?, and a good price).

Stickier tires would help(BFG or Nitto Drag Radials(DRs)). Remember though, DRs aren't to much fun in the rain. They can be ok, but you need to have a very light foot and a manual tranny.
NOTE: Sticky tires = better traction....but then you have to worry about the 10bolt 7.5" rearend deciding on when its going to decide when it wants to go out on you.......I know I'm on borrowed time

If you don't already, get a set of lower control arms to help out and the rest of the suspension. (of course, depending on what you do, your car will handle a lot better too )

Congrads on the 373s and the added umph.

Call up Summit Racing(I don't have their number, but go to www.summitracing.com and it will be on there). Order the Lakewood Lower Control Arms for a 93-02 Fbody. they are about 85.00 I use them on my car and they work great! Best value for the $$$.

There ya go. takes like 5 minutes to put each control arm together and about 30 minutes to install both. If you need any help let me know.
