White Smoke out the exhaust

Ok i noticed when i got my car when i would get on it,well not me but my freind, said there was a little puff of white smoke. Now that i have my new exhaust(2.5 downpipe,no cat or resisters all the way back to a 3" magnaflow muffler ,posting pics soon)that he said theres more smoke but not that much more.I figured with no cat or anything this is normal and i also heard the turbo will burn oil so a little white smoke is normal.I check my oil all the time and seems fine. So is the little puff of white smoke normal for our cars r what.

you could have seals that are a little leaky. look into castrol gtx oil and or an oil treatment for that. there was just a thread about that recently...

yeah brotha, ive gotten 3 inch all the way back and my exhaust smoked BAD for a week straight. now 2 weeks into it i have VIRTUALLY NO SMOKE. You have to give it a week or so then youll know if your seals are bad. and if they are youll keep getting the white smoke. If not youll be fine. heh i was worried as well. but I work at the mistu dealership here in az and now got the low down on exhaust with no cat info.

Yea the seals shouldnt be bad, its a new rebuilt motor. Castrol GTX has some shit in it to condition seals to help stop this?

so that's your secret! ah ha!!! try going to jiffy lube and get the injector cleaner job. that may help too
