91 gsx stumbling problem/white smoke out the tail pipe/please help!!

ok sunday afternoon i was coming home and my turbo would not boost over about 5 psi. i stopped and opened the hood and the dip stick had popped out. put it back in and drove on, but still no power out of the turbo. now today any time i rev over about 3k rpm it billows white smoke out the rear. so i assume that either the turbo, head gasket, or both are gone. but what is puzzling me is that it just started stumbling really really bad. when i try to accellerate it will go and then stumble making some really bad sounds. i pulled into a gas station and checked, by eye, to see if anything looked bad, smelled bad, was hot..etc. and nothing seems to be out of the norm. i got back in and started it. drove it home with no hesitation at all. it is hit and miss. any ideas guys?

My gess would be the headgasket. That would make sense. But yet again its a DSM, nothing ever does.

I'm thinking head gasket as well, you said your dipstick blew out...do you have excess bubbles in your oil? That is another telltale sign of a blown headgasket

coil pack

I had a similar problem with my 92 eagle tsi. I also did the visual. Nothing look that broken or damage. Till one night when it happened, an I pulled over to check it. Their was a spark coming from the coil pack. So I turn off the car pull on the wire an a part of the coil came with it. To do this you need to do it in the dark. Open the hood an check to see if there is a spark under the intake. the white smoke is unburn gas
