common engine swaps in 70's model cars
I'm looking around for a nice 1970ish ride, definately gonna do and engine swap with it but dont want to much hassle with the transplant.
So I was looking at toyota crowns and coronas with the 'M' chassis, they can fit several different toyota engines with the same chassis design, like the 5mge, 7mge or 7mgte. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other japanese companies that have reasonably universal chassis designs. I'm looking for a reasonably high power output 4 or 6 cylider engine.
